The Design Center was selected to participate in the 2004 ArchiLab round-table discussions and exhibition. The Design Center exhibited the Fire Break Project which will be included in book commemorating the exhibit.

Grand Award in the first annual national 2002 NCARB Prize for Creative Integration of Practice and Education in the Academy.

Princeton Architectural Press released a book on university-based community partnerships, and has included the Design Center as a model format.

National Endowment for the Arts has chosen the Design Center as the model design center nationwide for the purpose of a national report filed in November 2001.
