...earned a BA at the
University of California, Irvine (focus: Environmental Psychology –
how people are affected by their built environments) and a Master in Architecture
from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. After working three years as
an Architectural Designer, primarily with non-profit groups in Los Angeles,
he entered religious formation, and received an M.Div from the Jesuit School
of Theology at Berkeley in 2002. After Ordination he served as Director of
Liturgy for a large multicultural congregation in San Jose, California, and
continued his study on the relationship between religion and architecture
at Yale from 2004-2005, earning a Master of Sacred Theology. He currently
services as a Senior Research Design Fellow at the Detroit Collaborative Design
Center where he explores the design of Sacred Space.
